Bah - Lucas is a jerk. The whole angle of 'it's my mother's fault because she never asked' is pretty lame - how on earth was she supposed to know to ask? She seems like an wonderful mom. He reminds me of Christian from East Enders, who I didn't like either (although the fans on that page ate me alive for saying so - apparently being 'SUPER HOT' excuses acting like an asshole for some people.

I don't think Lucas meant the question "Are you gay?". He just wanted his mother to be more interested in his life. I think he would've told her he was gay if she had ever asked him about his love life. Even if she had asked him if he had a girlfriend.

I know he's being hard on her but I wish his mother would just sit down and talk to him instead of talking AT him. Just spend some time with him. It may be hard for a stubborn 18 year old to ask but I think the answer to her question would have be "Yes, I would like some motherly love"

This child is just trouble on wheels but he makes me smile!

Go Janine! He needs to school Lucas on how emotional blackmail doesn't always work with people. If he really wants his mother to be more interested in his life, he can't give vague responses when she asks about how he will enjoy life better with extra cash flow.

I know Lucas is screaming for attention from her, but emotional blackmail is just not the route to take.
