Kevin: But that pictures a lie...
Photographer: Most of life is a lie kid...deal with it! Adios!!! (he runs off before Kevin can grab him)
Nick: Sorry Dem...we tried...

Demi: No, its fine...Ill just talk to Joe...hell understand...I hope...
Kevin: Lets go before more paparazzi comes...
(the limo drives up and they all get in its about 11:00 pm and Demi says shes tired so they drive her home)
Demi: Thanks guys...so Ill be over in the morning right?
Kevin: yup...see ya
(Demi smiles at them and shuts the door and goes into the house)
(in the limo)-
Kevin: Nick, youve been quiet...anything wrong?
Nick: No.....yes.....maybe (he looks away)

Nick: Yes...was today my fault?

Nick: I dunno I feel like it was...
Kevin: (notices he hasnt looked up at him yet) Well, I hope Demi and Joe get things sorted out...eh?
Nick: (thinks about and then lies) um...ya...

Nick: what?(looks up at him)

Nick: See what?

Nick: (finally gives in) How obvious...
Kevin: actually youve done a good job at covering it up...

Nick: (ebaressed, nods his head) ya...
Kevin: well...you cant go doing anything thats going to ruin her and Joe okay?

(the next day)
Demi: (talking to herself in the mirror...by the way she left like 20 messages on Joes phone last night) okay...(deep breath) hey, joe...look, what miley said was— no, um...(looks at her phone and notices its 10:00 am) oh, I gotta go...(she leaves and heads over to the Jonas Brothers house.)
(She knocks on the door and Kevin answers)
Kevin: Hey Dem whats up?
Demi: Nothing...is Joe here?
Kevin: Ya but he hasnt come out of his room since yesterday...so...
Demi: Really? Oh man...
Kevin: here, Cmon in...
Demi: thanks...(she looks nervous)
Kevin: good luck...
(demi slowly makes her way up the stairs and knocks on Joes door.)
Joe: (joe is sitting cross legged on his bed with his bedside lamp on reading a book in his blue plaid pajamas and a white t - shirt.) What?
Demi: hey, its Demi...
Joe: what do you want?
Demi: can we talk?
Joe: whatever...
Demi: (she quietly opens the door and walks over to him) hey...
Joe: hey...(not making eye contact)
Demi: Joe
Joe: hey, did you read the paper today? Pretty interesting headline dontcha think?
Demi: (he shoves it at her and she looks it over) Joe...
Joe: No! (He looks up at her) I dont even want to hear it...
Demi: Joe...Im sorry okay...whatever Miley told you it wasnt true...she was just trying to break us up...the front page was nothing, just Nick and I fooling around...
Joe: Ya I got that part thanks...
Demi: Joe! I really like you...--
Joe: you didnt even run out after me...
Demi: Im sorry, the movie started...
Joe: ....I just never felt the same way about any other girl...and when I hear and see these things...it just tears me apart...my heart is literally broken...
Demi: none of this is true...why dont you trust me?
