dig a shallow well.I finished my 2 day project in just under 6 days. Not bad as far as my estimation of time goes. It came in at the $400 level including trash pump rental. $200 of that came from the sale of my big screen tv. I never watch tv and it just gathered dust. Its kind of nice having access to water and not be beholding to anyone for it.

  • Thanks for sharing. You did a great job, very practical and it looks good too. Your wife is proud I'm sure. I'll try it in my backyard next and hopefully achieve the same results. Thanks again.

  • @MrRossi18020 thanks for checking out the vid and i hope you are successful at reaching water .

  • Well HELSBELLS why didnt you pump some clear water out at the end of video? How do we know that you did it right? So you need to finish it and show us that it worked? The last time you pumped it it was a mud slush!

  • @coltbuntline it took weeks of pumping every chance i got to get the water clear. if i had an electric pump instead of a hand pump,it would have cleared up in a couple days. why do you think there is some sort of conspiracy to make you believe im drinking mud? why do you think i care if you "think i did it right"? out of 21000 views, you are the only one with this bizarre accusation that im pupming mud and not water. ,,,,,,,wierd man, just wierd.

  • superb brilliant video work and workmanship ...thank you ..best wishes

  • @marshallart100 thanks for watching!

  • Great video series! Enjoyed watching. Any updates on how the well has been working since you put it in and maybe how much water you can harvest at one time?

  • @Jeffrich308 man that water is cold!!! it felt great today when i was working in the yard. i held my head under it and got a suprise. i had no idea it would be that cold on a 91 degree day.
