A powerful video for those who have ears and eyes to see. Leonard Feather called Phineas, "The greatest living jazz pianist." And Oscar Peterson said that of all the pianists younger than himself he considered Phineas, all things considered, the best of them all. George Wein wrote that Phineas was faster than Art Tatum. Art and Oscar are jazz geniuses. So is Phineas. He is also more profound in his feeling at the keyboard, and his musical brain and concepts are much more interesting.
