Michigan 14, Penn State 9. Ryan Mallett scored a 10-yard rushing TD in his second career start, but Mike Hart carried the offensive load with 44 carries (a career high) for 153 yards and a TD. Michigan's D made those two TDs hold up, keeping Penn State out of the end zone and limiting them to 270 net yards. Jamar Adams led the D with 8 tackles and 5 PBUs, earning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors.

@LOseIDon penn state fans cried that it supposedly wasnt in, and he was down (he wasn't), and etc. What they don't think about is how that was 2nd down, not fourth. I think we can move 3 inches in 2 downs.

@panthers1090 He was right to leave. He didn't fit this offense. He was not the future for Michigan. He is doing much better at Arkansas than he ever would at Michigan. This is coming from a UofM student and a life long fan.

This was the last game I saw in the Big House. Hopefully, we'll see a similar result on Saturday.
