Secret Chapter 43

[AN. Again, sorry for my absence. Blah, I apologize, its the same thing every time. Moving onI got this idea really early this morning(6am) and thought it was perfect for the new chapter because well, for the longest time I wasnt sure what to write. This is basically a filler chapter, nothing earth-shattering, just some cute silliness, mostly. Enjoy.

Chapter 43

*Normal POV*

*Deciding to take advantage of the semi-nice, and unpredictable weather of January in Michigan (it being 40 degrees, which is nice for the dead of winter), Rachel decided to go to the park down the street. When she got there, it was predictably deserted. She climbed onto the top of the circular blue monkey bars and laid down, her blonde hair dangling between the bars. And that is exactly how Joe finds her 20 minutes later. Pulling off his sunglasses, he walks underneath the monkey bars and looks up at his friend.*

Joe: What are you doing?
Rachel:*without even looking at him* Laying on the monkey bars. What are you doing, Joe?
Joe:*chuckles* Wondering why we are friends. *she mock gasps* Kidding. Kidding. *he sets his hat and sunglasses on a plastic platform attached to the play set* Mind if I join you?
Rachel:*sweeps her arm across the air* Be my guest.

*Joe climbs up and lays on the top of the monkey bars as well, the top of his head near Rachels. They talk for a while on a variety of topics, joking around most of the time. When they start to lose feeling in their fingers and toes, they decide its time to head home. Joe puts his hat and sunglasses back on and they begin to walk down the street.*

Joe:*casually slings his left arm over Rachels shoulders* So.. Rachel.
Rachel:*nods* That is my name.
Joe:*smiles* .Whats up?
Rachel:*pushes his away from her playfully, laughing* You are so lame. *she walks backward in front of him*
Joe:*grins* Whatever.

*Without saying another word, Rachel grabs Joes brown fedora off of his head and puts it on her own. Joes jaw drops dramatically and Rachel runs down the street. When she looks back to see Joe beginning to chase after her, she runs faster, laughing and shouting you cant catch me. He eventually does catch her, near their houses.*

*The Next Day*

*Rachel knocked on the Jonas door. Paul answered, she gave him hug before moving to the house. After stopping to shed her winter coat, Rachel continued on her mission to find Joe. After she found him, in the basement, she dragged him to the nearest computer and pulled up at website. There was an article with 5 picturse of Joe and herself from the day before. They sat in silence as Joe read over the article and looked at the pictures:
First, of the two of them laying on top of the monkey bars, smiling.
Second, of Joe with his arm around her shoulder.
Third, taken immediately after, of her pushing him away while they both laugh.
Fourth, of her walking backward and putting Joes hat on her head, while his jaw drops comically.
Fifth, of her running away and Joe chasing her, both laughing.*

Rachel:*when he finished* Apparently, they are speculating that we are dating.
Joe: Hmmm I dont get how they would get that we were dating from that*he gestures to the pictures*. We were just having fun, as friends. If we were like making out, it would be different.
Rachel:*laughs and hits his shoulder lightly* Be serious Joe. I mean, they already gave us a couple name!
Joe:*raises an eyebrow* Really?! *she nods quickly and he is silent for a moment* Well, what is it?
Rachel: They have dubbed us Jachel. No offense Joe, but I liked my name with an R instead of a J.
Joe: And I like it oe in my name *mock pouts and Rachel laughs* Whatever, well just ignore it and it will go away.
Rachel: What if you get asked in an interview or something?
Joe:*shrugs* Ill just tell the truth. We are not dating. And you are my friendas well as Kevin, Nick, and Frankies friend. *he pauses* And my moms friend.
Rachel:*laughs* Hey, your mom is awesome. And I met you guys through her.
Joe:*raises his hands in surrender* I know. My mom is awesome. *smiles*

[AN. Wow what a crappy ending. Sorry. Its actually longer than I thought it would be. Um, the couple name Jachel was officially coined my iluvnickjonas210(Lindsay) a long time ago, because I told her if she wanted Joe and Rachel to be together, she had to come up with a name. Thanks Lindsay. =D Hope you guys were happy with this chapter, since you so rarely are happy with me. ; ) Thanks for reading.

so if their couple name is jachel then wen they get married they get a daughter called ro which is short for rosie or rosalinda or rose, watever as long as their daughter is a ro.

Yeah. A few months ago when Lindsay and I were talking about their possible couple names and it was between "Jachel" and "Roe". We decided that "Jachel" was definitely better, but they both are kind of bad. haha

That's a good idea. I don't think I will be writing my story long enough that Rachel and Joe will have a kid together though. But good thought. :)

omfg guess how stupid i must be? i took at nap when i got home and when i woke up it said 7 30 so i thought i had slept from 4 pm to 7 30 am but i t was 7 30 pm! lol i felt soo stupid!

Um, I'm not sure. I have another chapter hand written but I'm not sure if it will work as the next chapter.

I'm busy Saturday, but I might write a bit tonight and Sunday.

We'll see.

Fyi(because I know you're kind of new to my story), I do kind of ger spuratic with my posting, I try not to but it happens. So hopefully you don't get disappointed, if I don't for awhile.
