Slide show of Hurricane Katrina ravaged amusement park on the edge of New Orleans in 2008. This place is rapidly being reclaimed by nature yet at the time I was there and took the pictures, it was eerily undisturbed. It seemed as if nothing had laid hand to it since the days of the storm save for a few animals that had made it their home. There was no graffiti at the time and very minor vandalism. I have been in a number of abandoned and destroyed sites all over the place but this was one of the eeriest by far.

@mizhyde420 property has already been sold, and attractions either dismantled or reused in other parks across the country.

I guess it was a creepshow.....a place that should have lots of noise, sounds and bells, laughter.
