  • I don't know why he chose this one, as the probe doesn't seem to go into the oven. If you buy one, make sure it can go in the oven, so that you can check the temperature while it's cooking. Most probes also include an alarm when the target temperature is reached. Also, don't stick the probe next to a bone, as bones tend to get hotter than the meat.
