While driving northbound on Interstate 5, I caught sight of the unmistakable paint scheme of the California Northern GP15-1's chugging along the former Southern Pacific West Valley Line.

  • Great video 5*****

I have seen the first car at 1:35 over 15 times come through American Canyon,Ca and oddly puled by engine 103 small world haha

  • Thanks for your video response, which I enjoyed watching. And yeah, it's funny to see the same car in a different location operated by the same railroad!

  • Have you ever thought of filming CCT (Central California Traction)?

  • Yes, I have, and will try to do that someday.

  • @cchan006 isnt the gp 15-1 basicly a mp15 with a shitter?

  • @arkie74: There might be other minor differences, but yeah, pretty much.

  • I don't remember the exact numbers, but two of these GP15's came up to Washington State recently. I saw them being pulled dead out of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard by their little 44-tonner about 2 months ago, and then about a month ago I saw them parked outside of Stimson Lumber Company in Shelton, WA.

  • Hah 103 is now in Oxnard, CA. for VCRR service

  • Hate those damned grafitti idiots.
