My new Scopion EXO 700 Black Chameleon helmet arrived this week. Here is a little video introduction of the helmet, and brief update on what else is happening in my world.

I have an EXO 700 too and I love it. Its much better than the HJC I used to use. It's lighter, quieter and has better ventilation. The shield is also really easy to change.

i love the dark tint look but its dangerous at night , i prefer the internal sun visor, but even so all dark visor has a very cool look to it

@kd4ysi external mic works great. I have to tweak it a little when editing, but nothing too bad.

@kd4ysi hey bud; as for the zi8, I like the camera, it takes GREAT videos and good stills too, but I have had a difficult time deciding where to mount it on the bike/helmet. My final decision is that I’ll use it as a voice recorder , and sync up my audio from the kodak to the video of the GoPro HD. Hope this helps. OH, the mic I was using is a mono mic, so I had to do some adjusting while editing to sweeten the audio. Not cool, but not that big a problem either.

Hey, thanks for the comments.......I took the Scorpion out for a ride, and I LOVE IT!!! It is lighter than the HJC; better ventilation and it “smells” new too!! I’d like to put that camera mount on the Scorpion, but it’s such a new helmet, I’d rather not mess with it just yet.

As for the dark shield, I don’t do much night riding, so it’s not really a concern of mine, PLUS I have the clear shield just in case I need it anyway.
