The "castle" is gone, but Holmes did not burn it down. Outraged citizens of Chicago got together and burned it down. The police stood by and let it happen, as they too wanted this horrible place gone.

Yes it is Tony Jay. When I wrote the script for Holmes, I tried to fill it with my favorite words he spoke from Hunchback and Beauty and the Beast. "monster" was one of them. "A baby? A monster!"
