Upon waking up in my friend's house, Charlie Bailey, I started playing a ukulele I had just purchased the previous day. Twenty-five dollars and frustration that I gave the salesman later, I settled on a uke I thought was the pick. I hadn't had much sleep and life at the time was not really playing fair at that stage. I could feel abundance was on its way I guess being that Christmas was just around the corner. A time for me when I can eat, drink, be merry and enjoy the present company. This song came out so quickly I could hardly type the lyrics fast enough on my phone. The ukulele solo came out even quicker after I started practicing all my scales on the ukulele. Charlie has always played the harmonica solo live and I love her little twists and character. Thanks to Jack Carty for his beautiful harmonica. I also must thank the farrago choir and their musical director, Fantine Pritoula. I've added so many things to this record just be virtue of being able to reflect upon the songs and what they mean to me. This song is about forgetting troubles and letting go. Being with friends, having fun, singing, dancing and playing harmonica if you like, are all the emotions I wanted to capture in the audio.

"Volume two ...for her" was Produced, Engineered and Mixed by mcArtney and recorded in Newcastle and Sydney, Australia, between 2008 and 2010. Except 'Half empty love story', Produced, Engineered and Mixed by mcArtney & Brett Adrien, recorded in a tunnel somewhere in Newcastle, Australia, on a Sunday night in April, 2010.
