Wind Rising is a band consists of three youthful members.
The band was formed early June 2009.
All of the members were learning music from the same local music school
where they got to meet each other. While two of the younger members are
still attending high-school, the other is attached to the higher education institution.

They are:

Tan Chin Sing (17 years old) on guitar / vocal
Mohd Haris (30 Years old) on bass / backing vocal
Ng Kae Vin (16 years old) / Drummer

The name of the band is the combination of the three members names,
as Wind in (Kae Vin), Ri- (Haris), and Sing (Chin Sing).
Wind Rising is into the funky and hard rock genre. Thus,
penning their competition song Nevermind in semi funk-rock style.
The song narrates about a nice boy who fell in love with a sparkling-eyes pretty girl
only to find out later that he was being used as a tool by her, in order to achieve her
immoral goals. The boy finally moved on and buried the past as everything had became Nevermind.

Wind Rising has great passion in their music and hope to share their joy with every
one they come across in the band scene, and looking forward for an exciting trip to
Yokohama come the Asia Grand Finals in November.

Their motto is Make music our life, make our life music.
