Of course it wont help if you shake it. What will help is if you lock it in a room for a couple of hours, let it scream till it gets tired. Problem solved, without any child-abusing charges against you. Seems too good to be true, doesn't it? Contact me for more helpful tips on how to get a break from the annoyance of having a child.
Or adopt a child pass the age of 4, they usually learn how shut up by then.

The baby is crying and we are becoming frustrated. What do we do? Maybe give the baby a bottle. Or perhaps we sit in a rocking chair and rock the baby to sleep. Or maybe play some soothing music. Nah, instead we are going to shake the baby to death. It shuts the baby up and in the end you are in jail for it and have to live with the fact that you killed your own son. Yeah, that's always better *and yes, I am being sarcastic*
