I love Julia Hamari's voice and her Bach music interpretation. It's perfect

I totally disagree with you. This is a great piece, sung by one of the best contraltos our time. Richter was a Bach specialist, and until now, his recordings are one of the best you can get...if not the best.

Wonder where they got those Medieval paintings from?

I like this rendition but I prefer the rendition by Michael Chance.

@Bachmania28 It is Karl Richter, and Bach himself would love it.

Wonderful! I hadn't heard this version, until now... It's really... I just can't find words for it... It's amazing...

I think that's really unfair. The vibrato is very natural and it's a beautiful interpretation. It may not be a modern early music sound but I bet Bach would have loved it all the same!

It's very boring to read comments of frustrated people "too much vibrato etc",I guess many baroque singers are frustrated because they can't sing opera that's why they are obsessed every time a large voice sing "their"repertoire.Who can say "this is not the style"???ONLY the composer so please shut up.Thanks
