Lian gets bitten by a western diamondback rattlesnake in Tucson Arizona whilst tending to a friends garden. The snake was about 4foot long, and bit her on two knuckles.
She needed over 20 vials of anti-venom.
Two months on, she still can't straighten her fingers.

  • so what would happen if you just "wait it out"? treat it like a fever, drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest. would it just go away on its own eventually, like a fever?

  • @RKelinsi without treatment, the venom would reach your heart and you die a slow and painful death. In the old days, I believe they would cut the limb off to stop the flow of poison.

  • IF THEY DONT LIKE THE AMERICAN COSTS FOR MEDICAL THAN PERHAPS THEY SHOULD GO BACK TO THERE HOMELAND THEN!

  • @thebearjewkiller1976 Lian (the girl who got bitten) IS A US CITIZEN. Had I got bitten, my free travel insurance that I get with my free bank account in the UK would have covered ALL the costs. Up to 2 million dollars. I wish it had been me that got bitten. Lian was uninsured.

  • $140,000 is horrible, but I would pay 10 times that to save my wife. I'm sure this guy feels the same! Glad to know she was fine and nice garden btw :)

  • In nursing school and being tested on such bites and came across your video. I am sorry she had to suffer like that. Hope she is doing better.

    Florida

  • One snake bite= $140,000?

We have veterinarians in Texas that will fix you for about $50 bucks (And worm yer dog on the side). Arizona must be too close to California...

All funny stuff aside... NEVER leave a snake bite unattended. You will die.

My grandmother was bitten as a young girl... in a small Texas town... and almost lost her leg.

It did get better after almost FIFTY years!

  • She looks like she has some nice tits!!

  • Your wife is pretty. Worth saving.

  • America needs some kind of national health service

medical care depending on what you earn is like living in the dark ages

  • @thebearjewkiller1976 you sound like the typical american alright. Ego with a little iggnorance on top.

  • @chrisandm

Glad ya'll are ok. Outta be careful in snake country. Course, you've got hands on education now. The fingers might limber up in time. Take care folks.

Couldn't agree more bubba. Seems the problem is mainly the same wise fools claiming to "fix" the problem are the same ones constantly screwing it up.
