Is the start of Gridley Trail easy to find when you ride up Nordhoff Ridge Rd? And where do you start\park at on Nordhoff? Ive never ridden around there before.

@2mustange suspension than getting a bad/cheap bike with full suspension. Idk if you share the same opinion. Might as well get a good front suspension and have the bike be in good shape than have cheap parts and get hurt from the bike not taking the trails..
how has the Gary Fisher bike been treating you?

I got myself a Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc 29er...First "true" bike. I love biking now. and I hope in a few years i can afford a nice full suspension 29er. Im a tall guy so controlling a 29er is no problem for me.
Idk much about other brands since my friends owns a shop that is sponsored by Specialized, so my views on bikes are one sided till i learn more about them. I was thinking of picking up a cheap mongoose for full suspension but realized its better to have a decent bike single.....

Dude got the gary roscoe. wondering how the 29er is compared to the 26ers i am thinking about getting one??
@wasisnt we drove up the 150 hwy from Santa Paula into ojai. And before getting into downtown ojai we made a right into Gridley rd and went straight into a cul de sac where we parked. Once in cul de sac ( dead end rd) you will see a paved narrow road leading up the mountain and just follow it. keep to your right trail. I believe the left trail goes thru private property. good luck.!!

@2mustange I love My RumbleFish 2...It's a nice bike!!! Type of bike that you can ride the mountains all day long. Easy 30 or 40 miles.. When i'm going down-hill I ride with confidence because this bike can take a beating and has amazing control. Trust your bike and you will be amazed on how much it takes care of you!! cheers!!

@2mustange Good choice on Hardrock. That was also my first mtb bike 13 yrs ago. Full suspension bike are expensive but well worth the money. I dont regret paying a few thousand dollar for mine.Specially if your a passionate mtb rider. Keep your eye open and you will find a good deal on a FS bike. stay away from mongoose.. keep it in Specialized,Trek,Giant, gary fisher etc
you can always buy last years model alot cheaper.. Save your money!! good luck

@nimdawf the difference comes down to choice. 26 or 29.... which one you feel more comfortable riding... I have a couple of buddies that switched from 26'ers to 29'ers
And they love the 29'ers Both have rumble fish 2... i don't think you can go wrong with a Rumble fish 2 29'er ... The technology, design, and geometry has made this Rumble Fish2.... 29'er a performance machine... what's your riding style ?

@legocrazy1100 thanks. I have a few more videos I need to upload but first I need to edit. It's time consuming. Some nice MTB footage from Santa Cruz,CA demonstration forest.

@tmonatr I agree that to most viewers the music on this video is not the most appealing MTB music. I'm a big fan of this band since my teen yrs. So therefore I decided to have in in my first ever MTB video. That's cool that you liked the ride but not the music..It's cool. No hard feelings. Some viewers mute the video and play their own music.
