  • I can see you turned off your fuel first and then the oxygen. At my school I turned off the oxygen first and then the fuel. Am I doing it the right way? Or does it even matter?

  • @carfenaticman123 it will tell you how to shut it down in the instruction manual. different torches say different things. it really dosnt matter and you will not explode either way. If you are using a victor read the manual and then show it to your instructor and tell your teacher to stop telling people lies.

  • @freddytk421 Thanks but I didn't say my teacher said anything, So I dont get why you think hes a liar?

  • @carfenaticman123 oh sorry it's just someone tells me every day that their teacher says to turn it off the other way. I just tell them to read the manual.

  • I dig your video. I just finished my winter session at school and it was on gas welding. I've been MIG welding for 6years now and never was taught to gas weld; its a slow process like u said but its a cool way to know how to weld like the ole days. Keep up the good work.

  • @315vock thanks. i will start again soon and then keep it up after that.

  • i believe your supposed to push the puddle not pull it

  • I'm just starting out, and i found this video very helpful.

  • thanks for all the tips. :)

  • @freddytk421 lol I understand man but thanks for making this video very helpful, I was welding my two coupons today at school and my torch was hissing at me like a fucker lol but I figured it out that it was dirty. I kept adjusting to a neutral flame and to a oxidizing flame and couldn't figure it out why it was hissing for a few seconds lol

  • Nice Intro Vid. Thanks...
