tie a rock to the prefilter to take it under the surface, but off the bottom.
-
Get the Prefilter soaking wet before U use it. That'll help keep it from flipping over.

i actually borrow one of these at a camp i was at they are great and backflushing is very easy............... but invest the extra 20 or 30 bucks and get the msr autoflow gravity filter is much easier to use

Put a rock on top of that prefilter!

hmm this is an interesting video. looks like you are fumbling around in your backyard. Is this a Lego set you are trying to use? You will probably die if you go out into the wilderness. Please do yourself a favor and stop making videos!

Yeah it probably would be a lot more stable. Im going to ask Msr and see what they say. I tried using my Miniworks hose but the hose is about half the width of the hyperflow.
Wow, that was rough to watch. I don't own one of these but I'm sure it is much easier than it looks in this video. I don't mean to offend, but one would think that the dude would get it figured out.
Other than that is it pretty tough?

I will admit it is a bit tough to learn. I havent used it in a while and I already forgot how to backflush. Good thing instructions are sewed into the case. It is tough. It could probably take a beating. I haven't extensively used it yet. If you want something simple and reliable go with the Msr Mini Works.

After doing some research, I just bought a hyperflow. I think I'm going to love it.
