A TomJonesBooks production about an entertaining new oral history book about 50 people who work in major league baseball. The poignant and fascinating interviews were conducted during the 2006-2007 seasons.
An excellent clip. Possibly could have been shortened a bit, but I understand the need to give credit at the end to the photographers. I appreciated the author providing the actual voices. This is Studs Terkel quality. Well done!
I absolutely love this video! There seems to be honest integrity in these people that doesn't always come out in other baseball coverage. Going to Amazon now to buy my dad a copy. Go Red Sox!!!
This looks like a wonderful book! It's about time that a writer/journalist has decided to dissect the game from within the magical confines of the ballpark and provide insight into and personal stories of those that work inside and outside of the foul lines.
