The poet Uqba wrote derogatory verses about Mohammad. He was captured and Muhammad ordered him to be executed. "But who will look after my children, O Muhammad?" Uqba cried with anguish. I have read the Koran. Or at least as much as I could without falling asleep. Boooring. Although the hilarious unintentional historical and scientific mistakes keep me going awhile. In any case, as scholars say, some of the Koran makes no sense without reference to the ahadith. The Koran was written for desert simpletons who didn't know any better.

Ali Goma, the grand mufti of Egypt, the highest Muslim religious authority in the world, supports murdering non-Muslims. In the daily Al Ahram (April 7, 2008), he says, Muslims must kill non-believers wherever they are unless they convert to Islam. He also compares non-Muslims to apes and pigs, not only the Jews.
