Matt Goes to Timmins

Matt played a show in his hometown of Timmins, Ontario, Canada in May, 2007. Matt's visit included hosting the morning show at Moose FM, visiting his old High School to talk to the Music Performance class, and playing a song at Rosanne Simunovic's student recital. The weekend was capped off with a CD Release Concert at the Shania Twain Centre, with all proceeds going to the Porcupine United Way. Thanks Timmins!

Sometimes I really treasure the friendships and the people that I met while living, going to school in my youth and then working there for a few years after getting educated down south. I do come back every now and again and it feels strange whenever I come back... like all the people I knew and loved are gone (most of the people I went to high school with are gone... all over Canada and abroad working). I get nostalgic
