This 1968 film was directed by Jack Gold from the play by John McGrath. In the clip in order of speaking: John Thaw as Featherstone, David Warner as the Bombardier, Donald Gee as Crowley, Nicol Williamson as O'Rourke. The sleeping man is Richard O'Callaghan as Rowe. Also in the film but not in the clip are Ian Holm, Peter Vaughan and Barry Jackson.

  • Sorry, I don't upload whole movies. DVD (VHS-rip) versions of this film turn up occasionally on eBay, iOffer.com and other sites. You'll find it by Googling Bofors Gun DVD from time to time. Best wishes. Colin

  • I think ‘The Bofors Gun’ shows what a good actor John Thaw was. Not many could’ve coped so well up against a colossus like Nicol Williamson. Colin
