Daewoo Maepsy 1984 commercial.
The Kadett C appeared in 1973, and was Opel's version of GM's 'T-Car', also built in Japan by Isuzu and sold as the Isuzu Gemini in Asian markets and Australia Holden and many other names. In South Korea, Daewoo Motors built a version known as the Daewoo Maepsy 1982.

  • A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran ... Cool ^^

  • cool 80's music..

  • スタイルもコクピットもジェミニと同じ。

    韓国でも売られてたのですね。

  • Not to mention the old Suzuki Swift which was also known as The Holden Barina in the 80's. And once a Mitsubishi was like the Swift.

  • There it is the Holden gemini!and there were many others all the commodores= open rekords!, Holden jackaroo=Isuzu bighorn, holden rodeo=Isuzu TF, Holden Astra =nissan Pulsar, and the New holden HSV Vxr is a 'rebadged" Vauxhall Astra!

  • Looks like a "Haolden" thats cause all the Commodores until the Vt were OPel german GM designed! Holden just "re badged " them E.G Holden Astra=Nissan pulsar, Holden barina= Susuki Swift, Holden Rodeo=Isuzu TF, Holden Jackaroo=Isuzu Bighorn,Holden nova=Toyota Corrolla, holden Apollo=Toyota Camry!...Jaguar = Jaguar!

  • Opel the German arm of GM, Opel also provided the "bodies" for the Holden commodore too! So unfortunately Holdens were NOT designed for australian conditions cause they were designed in germany and Opel in England were called "Vauxhall"! here they were called "Holden"! a Holden Jackaroo is actually an Isuzu! and so is the "Holden rodeo"!

  • It's actually a slightly modified version of Opel Rekord, as with Daewoo's Royal line up in the 80's which were based on Opel Rekord.

  • That couldn't be more opposite from an Escort if you tried!!! Its actually the Korean equivalent of the General Motors T-Car.

  • wrong. It's an Opel.
