This animation shows the movements of Mercury and Venus within the zodiac/ecliptic from geocentric point of view. The angles in between both planets represent the phases within the Mercury-Venus cycle, which is irregular due to the many retrogradations of both planets. You can also use it a ephemeris for Mercury and Venus. Time range starts from April 2010 until June 2011 in 12 hour intervalls UT. Please view in full screen mode. All other planets are made invisible except at the table to the right. Please watch my animation for 2010 with all planets and the introductory movie here for comparison and to learn the symbols.
Angles shown are: conjunction (orange), semisextile (30°), nonile (40°), semisquare (45°), septile (51°), sextile (60°). Orbs are some arcdegrees.
