If life was just futile I would say go ahead and get your rocks off no harm done mate.
If life was suffering but there was a great purpose then I would say keep the game going.

But BOTH futile and suffering then the conclusion comes down like a fucking hammer.

I see you grabbed the song I found, so melancholy. A fourteen year old boy wrote the lyrics my friend says. The song makes me think that suicide is NOT painless, but yet it's got that humanity to it that makes you realize regardless of the words, people are hurting and think of these things Suicide hurts family members, and there are no dignified exits at this point.
