Taken from the first and perhaps greatest TV show to combine music with a situation comedy about family life, here is one in a series of many "re-edited" Partridge Family music videos - in STEREO and often with bonus footage from that episode. This video contains footage from the episode "A Knight In Shining Armor", which guest starred Bobby Sherman (you'll see him in the audience).

  • Um, my eyes are brown, not blue.

  • @PartridgesGarage Both great songs IMO. I wonder if there's a mash-up medley of the two. That would be epic.

  • One of the best PFam episodes and a great song

  • "A Knight In Shining Armour" The pilot episode for the crossover show "Getting Together" starring Bobby Sherman and Wes Stern.

  • But it was just story. Not one of their best but a nice song

  • This is the ep where Bobby Sherman needed to find a lyricist to put words to his music. It was a long search and he finds a dorky lyricist. I mean, Bobby needed someone else to write lyrics this lightweight?

  • Aah that's so cool :-D I read this to my mom and she was pretty excited that she wasn't the only one!

  • Apologies: my earlier comment should have been more explicit. It's a reply to powerpuffkewpie inquiring about Wes Farrell. Mr. Farrell is the one who left us too soon at age 57.

(I keep forgetting that even if you reply to a specific comment, YouTube will have it show up as the most recent one unless you "show all comments". Replies look out of context or cause confusion.)

  • He passed away in 1996; he was 57 years old according to the short Wiki page on him. Tiger Beat did an interesting interview with him back in the early days of PF that mentions his impressive work before PF. The C'mon Get Happy site has it posted.
