@mundosimaginados the mathematics behind it should be in the datasheet.
if you want more than 7 bands, youll have to run more than 1 IC, with the secondary IC upshifted in oscillator frequency to allow you to get inter-band, bands....

but.. the msgeq7 gives you only 7 band-ranges, how did you turn them into 16?

@THEtechknight, please do you know where find info about who to calculate the oscillator frecuency in order to use more than one chip?

changing the oscillator frequency of the MSGEQ7 will cause the band frequencies to shift.

@THEtechknight I read it on the datasheet but I haven't info about values and I don't know how to implement in real time. I you have info, please share!

Hello, it's easy I've interpolated the info and create bars between the real frequencies. The most easy way is to calculate the average (by example)
