Ernie meets Yoda on Sesame Street

Somewhere on Sesame Street Ernie is looking for Bert but meets Jedi Master Yoda. This is an impression of Jim Henson's voicing for Ernie and Frank Oz's voicing for Yoda. Of course, Frank Oz also provided the voice for Bert (among other characters like Grover, Cookie Monster, and Miss Piggy), which is why I have Yoda saying that Bert is not far away. Ernie and Bert are my favourite Sesame Street characters.

Yoda is an animated puppet created by the technical wizards at Industrial Light and Magic for the STAR WARS films, and voiced and performed mainly by Frank Oz.

Ernie is a muppet created, performed and voiced by Jim Henson. Ernie is a regular Sesame Street character later performed and voiced by Steve Whitmire.

In this Youtube video, both characters are animated and voiced by yours truly. I tried my best to have the characters sound pretty close to the originals!

In memory of Jim Henson (1936-1990). The year 2011 commemorates the 75th Birthday of Mr. Henson.
