@BentivoglioIII whatever, I'm not going to argue over who is the best designer in the world. Obviously, you are Italian and this is why you are such an ardent supporter of Italian designers. You have to accept the circumstance that people have different point of views and as far as I am concerned, French fashion designers are superior to all the others and Karl Lagerfeld is the Louis XIV of fashion.

Chanel is the most prestigious haute couture house in the world and Karl Lagerfeld is a genius, whereas all the italian designers you listed are nothing special. Take Versace for instance, their clothes are obnoxious and tacky, not classy and elegant. Armani's clothes are boring, ferre is dead and Roberto WHO? There's only one elegant Italian fashion brand, namely Bottega Veneta (in my opinion)....
