Wow! With Will Heggie on bass. One of the most amazing bass players of all time. Never thought I'd see this. Fantastic!

I gotta look you up bufon63. I searched this vid because I have been fixated for the last week on the latest Sleigh Bells album. Female singer, two guitars with no bass, and drum machine. Check out this band - it's harder audio wise, but speaking as a 20 year long Cocteau fan...check them out.

Liz in this old video was so young and cute. Gorgeous songs, crazy and hallucinated, the TRUE GOTHWAVE

Great footage. I remember this TV show with envy, Channel 4 didn't broadcast in my area (unless you lived on a hill - seriously!) until late 1983. And the minute we got C4 they stopped broadcasting progs like this with great line ups. Instead we got the over-rated Tube, which for every Cocteaus appearance there were 20X Paul Young,Tina Turner, King (remember them?) clips
Ahhhh fuck. Killing Joke, The Banshees, Dead Can Dance, Joy Division, Cocteau Twins. The early 80's when music, angst and artistic expression was fucking real and at its height. Tears to my eyes. This is M A G N I F I C E N T
