A film by Susan Allin and Isabelle Gramp (Shrubbery Productions) created for the SCREENed Student Film Festival.
The film follows a day in the life of girls: Mac, Linux and Windows 7.
Mac is a self-aborbed girl who spends her day shopping at high end boutiques, drinking coffee and talking to her friends on her mobile phone.
Linux is a girl who cares very little about her self-appearance and spends her day sifting through bins, stealing coins out of fountains, sleeping on benches and shopping in comic book stores.
Windows 7's likeable personality is placed between the two extremeties of Mac and Linux, and she spends her day shopping in 'normal' stores, checking out a book on SIlverlight and playing video games. We designed her personality to mirror the Windows 7 Operating System - which is cool because its 'normal' (ie. it doesn't try to be anything its not), and therefore suited to most people to use.
