I am looking into a plasmacam in the near future and am curious what brand torch do you use and what size is it?

@Steffan97140 I'm using Thermal Dynamics and the torch size is a SL60, giving me a range between 20 to 60 AMPS...

@TorqueRider2000 I was doing fine, bill was the one using up the consumables at a greater rate than he thought he should be. I was just ignorant of greater consumtion at closer tolerences. I like when I learn something new!

@KEF791 yea i know it sucks, but you get what you pay for i guess? if you are working with something that can be taken to the grinder and worked a little bit then do it. What about trying more air pressure and possibly more heat?

@KEF791 yea, the closer you are the finer the line, but then yes you will go through tips alot faster vs. if you had a higher cutting height..... just the name of the game.

Put some long thread-stock/nuts/ and washers through the left over plates and make a stock shelf out of them.
