Today, aspirin is one of? the most widely used medications in the world,
with an estimated 40,000 tonnes of it being consumed each year.
It is one of the most effective and cheapest remedies available.
Aspirin has saved countless lives and eased much pain and it's an acid.
If you take two aspirin with a glass of ionized water will it be less
effective? Vitamin C, another acid prevents scurvy. Would you reconstitute
condensed orange juice with alkaline water? Think about it.

Ive heard you can become too alkaline and its not healthy but in reality, there are so many things that will make us more easily acidic like all the massive amounts of sugars we eat, fruits ( sugar/acidic) the chemicals in the water/shower, the stress, lack of exercise,improper breathing, meats, n other acidic foods, acidic care products used on the body, chemical aersol spraying and poisons and pollution in air etc. I think we need 2 "try" to keep our alkalinity high just to balance it all out.

Can any of you refer me to a double-blind study done with alkaline water? I find it interesting but I need impartial scientific study results in order to make a decision. I am interested but not sold on it by word-of-mouth stories. Anybody can claim anything.

I'd suggest you read the new book 'Building Bone Vitality' or get a copy of 'Acid Alkaline food Guide' The more you read, the more you will understand that this excessive alkalizing is almost iompossible in today's environment.
