This video is the second in my Minecraft Morning Musings series, in which I sail eastward while talking about philosophy. I'm starting with the Dao de Jing (Tao te Ching). You can find public domain copies all over the internet, but in this video is specifically reference the public domain translations by J. H. McDonald and James Legge.

  • Dude! you are completely crazy to talk about the essence of life, on these days everyone is interested in materials and money, but you know what! all will have the same miserable end.. Here we are hearing the very beginning of all, all that can be used to save our lives, the first time I heard about this book was from Eckaert Tolle, he is the result of the teachings of this book, and I hope from God that many people do it also. Thank you for this great favor you are doing for humanity.

  • I thought that bill and ted reference was perfect

  • @MrColtux :D

  • Well, I can see that I'll have to come back and give a very erudite comment when my brain is working again and my internet not threatening to shut off. I'm loving the series!

  • @ Pallidsoul oh god Don't mention Fredrick.... So confusing....

Well Joe, I do have an immaterial object that is very special to me. It seems that this does fall under the same circumstancial realm of origin as love and compassion, as it produces both these emotions into my endorphins. You see, I have gotten some insight onto the crazy unnerving world we have got up in here. So anyway, the immaterial object may be overlooked by many, but it has recently also been recognized by many. Because technically, Minecraft is an immatieral object.

  • 28th!

  • Joe, this is just weird, funny, but weird

  • Joe, I have no clue what you are talking about, but I love it. Keep it up!
