Im sorry but your red sox fans. of course u say varitek is similar to ripken jr. i would possibly agree with u if u didnt say a red sox player. also, the red sox shouldn;t have world series titles from 2004 and 2007 because they has steroid users (Manny and Ortiz)

Everyone is entitled to opinions, I may disagree, but that's fine. But at least make your videos watchable. I had a hard time watching it, you guys were all over the place, interupting, and saying the same things over. Oh, another fact, you may not like Cal, but he's laughing all the way to the bank.

we don't care if his streak can be broken. we just don't think it's that important and that it doesn't make him a great player.

u guys are idiots his streak cannot be beaten varitek does not even come close to his number of home runs, hits, and his streak cant be beaten r tards u guys are obviously boston marks and by the way im from boston and i still respect what cal did u obviously dont so fuck you guys
one of only 8 players in the entire history of the mlb with 3000 hits and 400 hrs. idc how many abs he had plus his games played streak and how he revolutionized the position is legendary. plus u dont know off the top of ur head who has the best hr per at bat avg but u know the top of list in hr all time. this is bc no one gives a shit about the hr/ab they care about the a career #s. i guess u and the other 1.5% of people who agree with u can have fun bashing a legit legend

@killacurve the fact that you don't care how many at-bats he had is more telling about you than it is about him. We don't mean any hostility by this, but we think the general public/media has it all wrong. Granted, someone can't hit 1 home run in 1 at bat and make it to the hall of fame. But one can't just look at quantitative statistics and use that as a basis for calling someone a legend.

showing up for work everyday and working your ass off does make you legendary players these days just lift weights and inject themselves with steroids to get their numbers and cal ripken never did that made it to over 3000 hits and is the true iron man of baseball enough said

we get it. it's rare. it's not great. most people don't have six toes. just because someone does doesn't make him/her better than everyone else.

that means he came to work everyday no one else can say that you have to be legendary

consistently showing up for work doesn't make you an extraordinary worker. fact is, you have to be good at what you do. we just don't think ripken was as good as people give him credit for.
