Handling relationships these days are a serious challenge for most people. Especially for people who don't particulary focus on self improvement and how we treat each other. It's easy for a driver to become so involved with trucking that he becomes a slacker in communicating with his family.

Of course then you have the other type who end up drifting into activities that go further and further away from what makes a relationship strong and get closer to an attitude that creates distance in the relationship which will have a snowball effect.

For these reasons and many other issues in between. Relationships over the road can take a toll on both the driver and spouse at home.

Hopefully this video will help those new to trucking by putting you ahead of the destruction by keeping you mindful of nurturing your relationship.
