Thanks for this Michael. I have been struggling with a loss of distance for quite sometime now. I was pretty sure it was something going on in my backswing and long story short I was messing with this the other day at the range and it really felt good. Granted it feels like I am making a huge sway off the ball but that is not the case. You need to battle past that fear especially if you have been leaning left for any length of time. Now I feel my lower body leading the arms and club down. Pow!
I can only say - great! The only video on youtube with this totaly important point in the backswing. Dont forget, on the top of the backswing the most of your weight is on the inner right heel. I like another good thing in this video as well - it shows you, that it is not so important to rais your hands on the top of the backswing very much. The hands must be all the time connected with the upper body (keeping the famous power triangle hands-shoulders).
great tip.Now I relax my arms and feel the weight, make my body move the club back.
Keep the clubface square 'till the hands are chest high and then up to the shoulder plan.Oh man, what a joy to have a rip through the ball with a pro release.
