King's X Alone With A Boy Named Chris

An edit I made of a King's X video for the song titled "Alone", from their 2005 release titled "Ogre Tones". The original video is exactly the same, except it features some bikini clad dancers. I had no idea how to use my video editing software, but with the help of PhotoShop and SoundForge, some three hours later I had Chris Farley dancing in the video! High five!

I actually sent an email to the drummer wondering why in the world they put dancing chicks in their video. It has nothing to do with the song, and it's just.... lame. Everyone wonders why King's X is not a household name. I say look no further than their crappy videos.

Aside from the humor aspect, the choice to use Chris Farley was poignant considering the subject of this video, being alone. I'm sure Chris felt very alone as he wrestled with the drug addiction that ultimately killed him. RIP Chris.
