The last thing I would say is that its not a camera that will take a quick succession of photographs (Just under one frame a second), but action photographs aren't particularly my thing so its not a feature I have ever been particularly concerned about. Overall then, yes, I would thoroughly recommend the camera for excellent quality photographs and excellent movie quality, and obviously that quite amazing zoom, and not just for the telephoto end of the zoom, but for the wide-angle 24mm end.

.... although I have read that Canon designed the chip specifically to work well with the Canon lens and the evidence of the quality would bear that out. Only negative so far (haven't tested everything yet) is that the battery (whilst lasting a long time) does seem to run out of power whilst still showing as though it has full power. Maybe a firmware upgrade will fix that. The camera has some nice unique features such as colour swap and colour isolation which are quite cool ....

Hi 'iToxkify', I couldn't find any in-depth reviews either, so I took a memory card to the shop and they kindly let me take some photographs outside the shop so I could take them home and scrutinize them! I have to say I do love the camera, and the stills are excellent, as long as you keep the ISO fairly low, as noise starts creeping in around 200 ISO, but that is common with 'Bridge-Cameras' with small CCD sensors ....

what memory card did u use i have SDHC turbo class6 but everytime i record a video it stop in 20 up to 90 seconds of my video recording please reply i have same camera powershot sx30is thanks
