Melbourne based Gypsy / Klezmer dance band the Woohoo Revue, live at the SA Folk Centre, Adelaide April 17 2009. The track - credited to Richard Wagner / New Orleans Klezmer All Stars - appears on the Woohoo Revue CD "Dear Animals".
It was New Years Eve 2010 and I had been @ the Woodforde Folk festival since about 10am that morning. It was now 10.45pm and I had heard a few good acts. On came the woo hoo revue and blu everything I had seen and heard up to that point , out of the water. Brilliant playing by the violinist and alto player especially when they played the melody a sixth or a third apart. Thanks for making my new years eve special - I bought your CD at 12.30am next morning. Brilliant!!!
