  • you tube purist are audibly biased.

You automatically dismiss based on preference.

I would bet 99% of you wouldn't know the difference

    in a blind audio test.

  • Marshall = 200$ a letter.

  • @Rydin6 I agree with you, not even Fractal has come this close to the real thing as Softube. The JMD is an amazing piece of equipment. It sounds more organic than my Bugera 6262. I made a A/B comparison between this JMD and the DSL100 and there was almost no difference. The JMD had a little less bass, but it can be compensated swapping the El34's for Kt77. Those who say that this amp sounds "digital" are proving they have not even tested it.Snobs.

  • what kind of guitar is he playing? or more importantly what kinda pickups are in it?

  • The JMD1 is a hybrid. You can complain about the digital aspect if you want. But that's just the pre amp, to emulate various amps/pedals and for the effects. The power and tone come from tubes. It is an amazing amp, I got the 100 watt head and it is so versatile it's incredible!

  • what guitar is that?

  • @zoomzilla67 yeah tube sounds good. but honestly, it really doens't matter what you use just as long as you know how to play. digital is really the new generation and digital will probably eventually take over. tubes are impractical, and really really expensive. not saying i don't use one i'm just saying in the end it really doesn't matter too much what you use as long as it sounds nice.

  • ltd guitar ??

  • I'll take my 1987X Plexi Re-Issue slammed with my DOD 250 any day of the week.

  • It's not bad for 1k, & reminds me of the H&K Switchblade. Have to say Diezel VH4 was the MOST impressive tube head I've played in years.
