Mama who bore me Reprise- Spring Awakening

So this is our first semi-performance of this song. A while back I sat down with the music and I spent about a week going note by note transcribing all the harmonies to music. I used the cast recording as well as several videos on youtube to work out the harmonies, and then added in some that I thought sounded cool. When I was finally able to get 4 other girls to do this with me we started working on it, working out the harmonies I got wrong and adding in even more new ones to flesh it out more. Then we had a friend of ours come do drums. We are preparing this for a festival coming up where we will actually like move and perform and stuff. Right now we just got down the blending and notes and whatever. I hope you enjoy it. I am sad because we never got to do another real performance of this with choreography. The girl all the way to the right graduated so if we want to do it again we need a replacement. Sadness.

The thing is, out of all the covers of this song, YOUR cover is the ONLY cover I have heard that sounds good. No other group has been able to hit all of the notes/harmonies like you five have!!!

Vocally, it was all right but there was no emotion. You just stood there and sange it. Because of the lack of emotion it made it, dare I say, boring - something I never imagined possible of Mama Reprise. It was a good vocal arrangement, but lacked any and all sort of passion.

mother of pearl! i love your vocal placement however be careful that when you use your head voice its always mixed with your chest voice especially during the rock part, otherwise it sounds a bit too operatic as well as prim and proper Amazing job though!
