Misandry in the domestic violence industry, featuring Erin Pizzey, Angry Harry, Stephen Fitzgerald and Michele Elliott.

The Duluth model is a commonly used reference tool used by various agencies, including government, which asserts that men are violent and aggressive towards women and dominate women in society. This model is applied to all men regardless of upbringing or circumstances. This film examines this model to see if the idea that only men are violent and that women are perpetual victims holds water.

• No men can work in womens shelters and no boys over 12 years of age are allowed
• Womens violence to children
• How men are raised and conditioned to protect women, and the values they are taught
• DV and powerlessness
• The flaws in the common understanding of the causes of DV

  • The woman asking the group of men where men get their attitudes about women left out the biggest influence; THEIR MOTHERS.

  • @felixq78 Very good point.

  • @shilpabisaria

You have misunderstood what he was saying and have now proceeded to run-off-at-the-mouth about it. Please watch the relevant part again and you will see your error.

As a broader point, when people behave violently, there are reasons for this. Do you believe that there is NEVER an explanation for violence?

If you think an opinion expressed in this film is an inaccurate version of the "truth", please put forward the truth as you see it...

  • The analogies with the SONY store and the KKK were spot on.

It amazes me that people can be so gullible as to take the suggestion that these radical activists are "experts".

    "the persuader and the liar"

-it is amazing that these things are allowed to pass for "education."

These practices are indeed offensive, and thier offensive nature needs to be recognized.

The people who engage in this brainwashing should be marginalized, stigmatized and shamed out of existance, just as with racists.

  • I agree that Feminists should be called for what they are: the equivalent of racists.

It would seem that with domestic violence charities, most people's critical thinking is short-circuited. Charities and their Feminist leadership, are seen as saintly. If a charity says it, then it must be true and it must be in a good cause. End of story. Reach for credit card...

  • @manwomanmyth Once thorough brainwashing has taken place within the minds of young humans it becomes nearly impossible, or at the very least extremely difficult, to reverse the mindset that takes hold during one's formative years. It is certainly an uphill battle.

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TWO ON ABOUT?

*comes in and beat the shit out of these two*

  • This is such a shame. :( No wonder men are more likely to commit suicide. Violence against them is excused in the name of "girl power" and they are always the ones who are accused of being abusive, and portrayed that way. If a man hits a woman in self defense, even that isn't okay while people are always laughing at the genital mutilation of males, are hitting them for laughs, killing them for humor, etc. I'm a female, but I'm astounded by all the hatred men get and it isn't fair.

  • @feministsAreCorrupt Definitely.

It's obvious she's talking out her arse. It reminded me of those God-awful health & safety meetings you have to sit through in every job these days, everyone just nods along until it's finished, not taking in anything or remembering what they heard.

It is worrying that people like her are in charge of getting people back on track after DV incidents. More an indoctrinator, less a curer. Tax payer probably pays her wages, the old bat.

  • It's so sad that this kind of material would never be seen on Tv.

    :(

If only people had actually listened to Erin Pizzey back when she first saw what this movement was going to become...

Heterosexuals... as in heterosexual women? or both men and women?

  • Really? You used "Any Given Sunday" as your example of female on male violence? The same movie where there are women being sexually harassed and displayed as owned property. Take your head out sir.
