The Duluth model is a commonly used reference tool used by various agencies, including government, which asserts that men are violent and aggressive towards women and dominate women in society. This model is applied to all men regardless of upbringing or circumstances. This film examines this model to see if the idea that only men are violent and that women are perpetual victims holds water.

This is such a shame. :( No wonder men are more likely to commit suicide. Violence against them is excused in the name of "girl power" and they are always the ones who are accused of being abusive, and portrayed that way. If a man hits a woman in self defense, even that isn't okay while people are always laughing at the genital mutilation of males, are hitting them for laughs, killing them for humor, etc. I'm a female, but I'm astounded by all the hatred men get and it isn't fair.
