I don't know why, (particualry the Doctor's hair at 0:41) makes me think of Sonic the Hedgehog

What is the first 3 epsidoes in this series (season). We don't have them yet where I live. Perhaps I can watch them on line untill we get caught up.

despite the explosions and spooky monsters and all, it was 0:59 that scared the hell out of me - i thought he was going to fall in love with donna, lol

Yep, If we've learned anything from Doctor Who, it's that it's that people always come back after being permanently dead. Margaret, K-9, the Daleks, the Master, Davros, etc....

You never know - the Slitheen "Margaret" supposedly died during the big explosion of "World War Three" but popped up again episodes later - perhaps this Miss Foster could do the same (pop up again later after her inevitable defeat) and keep this storyline possibility alive.
Two questions: 1. What does the weird rock guy in the Pompei episode say at 00:49
2. It's not really a question, more of a guess. Is the lady with the other sonic screwdriver the same lady who picked up The Masters' ring in the last episode of series 3?

1) I believe the rock monster identifies itself as a "Pyrovile", since it is a creature from the volcanic planet of Pryovillia. Its in the Pompeii episode, evidently enough.
2) That is Miss Foster, played by the talented and lovely Sarah Lancashire. It had been speculated that she was the Rani, but since this is from the first episode, that seems *highly* unlikely. She has something to do with the Sontarons, a source informs me.
