NASA STEREO Footage of Venus Explosion | Optical Illusion Only

This video shows an interesting optical illusion caused by STEREO optics. As Venus moved beyond the field of vision it seems to flare back into view. Due to the type of telescope being used.

What you are viewing is (1) reflection of the bright Venus image off internal camera surfaces and (2) instrumental flaring from diffraction of the image of Venus off the edges of the multiple baffles on the front of the instrument. The baffles are the multiple ridges at the bottom of the box, and just below the lower of the two circular optical packages near the top.)

These reflections and diffraction flaring should occur from time to time as Venus nears the anti-Sunward edge of the field of view.

@lynxeh erm if you took time to look you will see that I clarifies from yesterday that this is an effect of the lens. I can't speak for people two weeks ago, I only became aware of this two days ago and by yesterday I had clarified it was just lens flare. Sorry if that is not quick enough for you! lol

It is indeed an effect of the optics used by this NASA project. They have been kind enough to explain and provide corroborative evidence. So from here on this is simply a music video with a message. Message being to always research further until you get a conclusive answer!

I have reason to suspect this may be caused by a mechanism of the type of camera used for monitoring this aspect of the Sun. When bright objects leave the field of vision they seem to flare back in momentarily. I will await someone to confirm or refute the various theories as this is not something I am qualified in. One thing is for sure nothing has been noted in major news and Venus is looking pretty normal in the night sky.

i dont think Venus got hit, i think Venus blasted one of those tetrahedron ships just like Jupiter did in Aug '11 exactly the same effect before Elenin (tetrahedron) broke in to before changing course. do your homework. this is no camera flare, that is disinformation.
