This recording was made during wartime. Amazing how good it sounds considering the 'primitive' state of the art recording equipment that existed then.

Just like the other movement, not bad (if you take out all the audience noise in the background in the beginning, but I guess that would be hard to do in 1942). Btw, what is a picture of Eva Green doing in here? Well, all I can say is that you have great taste in women and music;) Tks

Yes on CD, Amazon has it.
"Andere frage aber ich brauche keine Antwort: War Adolf im Saal?" = Was Adolf Hitler at the concert? Don't know, probably busy with Stalingrad and Al Alamein in October 1942.
