Actually gas prices rose in mid 2005, I remember specifically paying $60 to fill up June of that year.  They really jumped during Katrina(8/29/2005) and some stations were intentionally price gouging, again, months before the democrats were elected into congress. Nice try...

Also for those that say High gas prices and the recession is Bush and Republicans fault, then try and remember when these problems began. They started in 2006, the very same year democrats were elected to congress. gas went from 2.50 dollars to 4 dollars. The democrat congress has done so much to prevent the further increase in gas prices, they called a 5 week recess, while republicans stayed in the congressional building to chant in protest, calling for an energy reform vote.

Obama has one term as a junior senator, how in any way is he prepared for execuative office. Although i disagree with Bush he is actually one of the most successful presidents of all time. He has got most of his policies made into law, more then what Clinton got, and if it wasnt for Iraq he would still be popular to this day. Beleive it or not. Bush did most of what he was elected to do. Plus i would of thought the worst president of all time was Warren G harding, who stood up and gave a speech so long on the day he came to office that he caught Hyperthormia and died a week later.
