Co2 does not cause a shit load of problems, Co2 is an effect of A problem and usually following not preceding natural climate change, indicating again that it is an effect of change it does not affect change.

I do agree man needs to seek balance and 0 impact but i doubt an increase in tax will get the job done.....

I don't think we as a race should be looking to move "off" grid as it were. I think we should be demanding we take ownership of these utilities. We're looking in the wrong direction. Don't throw away the technology that we worked hard to progress toward. Take ownership of it .

@SteveHovland i called my local energy nazi's and asked how would i be able to do a grid tie and they told me that I would have to purchase a new meter box at $1200 and have all the permits that would be around $2500 and they only pay at 1/20 of what they carge, I say down size your home and have only what you need and not what you want and do a small wind turbine and a few solar panels, just for lighting and you frig, forget the dishwasher and all the other creature comforts.

@KJamesSr 150 acres would be perfect, it will give him ample space to hunt and gather without exhausting the resources in one area. And it will allow him to give land to his children when they are of age if they choose to live free to. just because you are used to living in a tight apartment complex and have no idea what it will take to survive keep your comments to yourself.
