Let me try to break this down as simply as I can.
If a lion makes a kill how much of that kill belongs to the hyena?
Does it matter how hungery the hyena is or how many Hyena there are?
The role of Government is to stop the hyena from stealing the kill.

Freedom isn't government thugs waving guns around at people who disagree with them and their schemes. Let me opt out of your Progressive idea of freedom. You dont know what freedom is or what rights are.
